Changing Lives, One Family at a Time

Three entities in Prince William County are joining forces to impact the health and well being of local families: The Courage FUN Project, chipsThe Prince William Health Center and Woodbridge Rotary. The Courage FUN Project is working to create opportunities for school age children to become more physically active through free after school soccer programs. The Prince William Health Center, with its locations in Woodbridge and Manassas, provides affordable medical care for both insured and uninsured residents. Woodbridge Rotary serves many different local not-for-profit organizations that support family strength.

“We believe that too many families in this county don’t have the resources or access to services necessary for healthy families,” said Mike Yeatts, Executive Director of PWSI and The Courage FUN Project.  All three organizations care deeply about this issue and are collaborating to create a memorable event that will help families throughout the county. A casino night unrivaled in the area, Chips 4 Charity promises to be an evening to remember for an excellent cause. “We are excited about expanding the event’s reach in this, our fourth year and being able to serve the needs of even more families,” said Frank Principi, Executive Director of The Prince William Health Center.

“We have more opportunities for community involvement than we ever have before,” said Valerie Hayslett of Morelli & Associates, a member of the C4C steering committee. Local individuals and businesses can help with the effort by making donations, sponsoring gaming tables and purchasing tickets to attend the event on November 14th at Harbor View in Woodbridge.
