City of Manassas Awarded Grant From Virginia Municipal League

City of Manassas, VA . . . The Virginia Municipal League Insurance Program (VMLIP) has awarded the City of Manassas Risk Management Department a $3,286 grant for an electronic security guard system for use at the airport for protection of property against vandalism and theft.   This is the third grant the Risk Management Department has received of this type in the last five years.

VML distributes Risk Management grants to members for assistance with the following: expanding risk management programs, purchasing safety equipment, attending training, and educating employees to better understand government risk management. This year VMLIP gave more than $200,000 in grants to more than 70 government localities.
