EXIT Realty Pros is pleased to announce the opening of Vicki Shoemaker Cloud and Patrick Cloud’s real estate brokerage, EXIT Realty Pros. In celebration of the new location, EXIT Realty Pros will host an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on April 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p. m.

“We invite the community to join us,” said Patrick Cloud.

Vicki Shoemaker Cloud and Patrick A.W. Cloud are the owners of EXIT Realty Pros in Manassas.  Both Vicki and Patrick are long-time residents of the Manassas area. Vicki grew up in Prince William County near the area known as Brentsville and attended Bennett Elementary, Marsteller Middle School and Osbourn Park High School.  Her family has been in the County since the 1800s. Her father, Jim Shoemaker, and her grandmother, Bessie Shoemaker, owned Shoemaker’s appliances on Mathis Avenue in Manassas for decades.  Both Jim and Bessie were also Realtors when Vicki was growing up, so she comes by it naturally. She is the third generation of Realtors in her family in Prince William County. Patrick also attended schools in Prince William County to include Gunston Elementary, Marsteller Middle School and Stonewall High School.  Patrick’s family owned Bargain Buggies Rent-A-Car on Rt. 28 for almost three decades. He also owned Parkside Automotive on Piper Lane and has been an important part of this community.

Vicki Shoemaker Cloud first became a Broker in 2006.  She worked as an Associate Broker until finally graduating to Principal Broker at their new office in Old Towne Manassas, EXIT Realty Pros, located at 9244 Center Street at the corner of Grant Avenue.

Among her many professional accomplishments, she has served as the PWAR Grievance Committee Chairperson following her participation as a Committee member.  In 2017, she became a member of the PWAR Professional Standards and Arbitration Committee. She considers the Code of Ethics of Realtors to be of the utmost importance for all Agents and Brokers in this industry.  She attends annual training for these positions to be able to give her Agents and Associate Brokers in her company the best leadership possible as well as to be able to represent her own Clients and Customers properly.  Vicki says, “Knowledge is power and empowering”. She is constantly looking for opportunities to gain the most knowledge possible for a professional doing real estate in today’s world. Vicki is also a long-standing contributor and a member of the Board of Trustees for CASA CIS, serving the needs of abused and neglected children in our community

Vicki has been an instructor for both the Salesperson’s Licensing Courses and the Broker’s Licensing Courses for over a decade.  She has also taught the Ethics Courses and New Membership Courses at PWAR. She wrote her own Course for the Virginia Association of Realtors called, “Keeping it Real”, that pertained to the Ethic Complaint Process that was taught to many Realtors in Virginia.

In 2008, Vicki Shoemaker Cloud was given one of the highest honors a Realtor can receive when she won the Code of Ethics Award that is given every year by PWAR to only one Realtor.  “It was a great and humbling honor to be the recipient of this prestigious award.”

Vicki is continuing to teach the licensing courses at her office in Manassas and enjoys sharing her knowledge with the new agents she helps develop.  “I love to help others and I love to teach”.

EXIT Realty Pros has almost ten agents in its first few months of opening its doors and is looking to grow quickly.  Both Vicki and Patrick are always available to meet or talk to anyone considering moving over to EXIT Realty Pros from another brokerage or to start as a new agent from scratch.  As one of their newest agents put it, “I have never met another Broker that helps their Agents as much as you.”

Patrick Cloud is a native Northern Virginian with immense knowledge and familiarity of each city, county, town, and neighborhood in the region. He takes pride in the fact that he is a very social person and has countless friends and contacts who can help him, and anyone he knows, resolve any situation for which they could possibly need assistance.

Patrick has been a self-employed business owner his entire working life, owning a multi-location rental car operation and serving as President of the Car and Truck Rental and Leasing Association (CARTRALA).
