Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-VA) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed the House amendment to S. 1550, the Program Management Improvement and Accountability Act of 2015, by a vote of 404 to 11:

“I am pleased to join my colleagues in voting for this bill that will improve accountability practices within our government.  This commonsense legislation will create greater efficiencies in our government agencies and ultimately save taxpayer dollars.  By passing this bill, Congress will ensure that governmental agencies share best practices with each other through an interagency council.  An effective, more efficient government can be achieved by improved time management, setting standards and metrics for performance and improving agency communications, and this bill aims to accomplish these goals.”
