Congresswoman Barbara Comstock
Comstock for Congress Campaign is pleased to announce the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small business owners, has endorsed Congresswoman Barbara Comstock for re-election. Congresswoman Comstock has a 100% rating from NFIB. This is the sixth time that Congresswoman Comstock has been endorsed by the small business community.
“I appreciate, once again, earning the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business Save America’s Free Enterprise Trust,” said Congresswoman Barbara Comstock. “If we are going to get our economy back on track, we have to provide the policies to allow small businesses to start, grow, and thrive and provide opportunity for all to seek and live the American Dream. As a former small business owner myself, I understand what it’s like to sign the front of the paycheck as well as the back of the paycheck. Our diverse community is full of small businesses in every imaginable field and I meet and work with them every week to learn how we can provide better policies to enhance their success. I’m proud we have promoted an innovation economy, passed tax relief for small businesses, and fought against the misguided regulations of this Administration that halt innovation and entrepreneurship.”
“Small-business owners want to see Congresswoman Comstock continue to serve in Congress as a leader for the small business community,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Congresswoman Comstock was a small business owner herself and she understands, first-hand, the struggle to deal with high taxes, excessive regulations, and misguided job killing policies, like the recent work hour rules from the Labor Department. She walks the walk and always is one of our hardest working advocates for small businesses and entrepreneurs.”
NFIB is the nation’s leading small business association, with offices in Washington, D.C. and all 50 state capitals. Founded in 1943 as a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization, NFIB gives small and independent business owners a voice in shaping the public policy issues that affect their business. NFIB’s powerful network of grassroots activists sends their views directly to state and federal lawmakers through our unique member-only ballot, thus playing a critical role in supporting America’s free enterprise system. NFIB’s mission is to promote and protect the right of our members to own, operate and grow their businesses. More information is available online at NFIB.com/newsroom.
