Contract Solutions, Inc. is proud to host a meeting of current and former participants in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA’s) 8(a) Program on August 24, 2016.
The 8(a) Program is a business development program designed to assist companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. One of the ways that SBA effects business development is through providing an entry point for companies to access the federal marketplace.
The event will be held at the Hampton Inn, 7295 Williamson Blvd. in Manassas, from 9:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. Targeted participants are companies that are served by the SBA’s Richmond, Virginia office. The purpose of the meeting is to address obstacles that small business face; to learn from each other; and to learn how to work together through teaming.
Highlighted speakers include Ms. Cassandra Ziegler, Supervisory Business Opportunity Specialist from the SBA’s Richmond Office, and Mr. Calvin Jenkins, formerly the SBA’s Deputy Associate Deputy Administrator for Government Contracting and Business Development. Interested registrants should contact Ms. LeAnn Delaney at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 703-686-4846.
