COVID-19 Vaccine Information Update

  • Vaccinations: 1,418 people in Phase 1a and Phase 1b were vaccinated in the last four days by the Prince William Health District (PWHD).
  • Phase 1a: PWHD continues to vaccinate Healthcare Personnel in Phase 1a.
  • Phase 1b: Currently police are being vaccinated in Phase 1b by PWHD. Law enforcement is being contacted through their agency to register.
  • Phase 1b: Ages 65+ years and older and those 18-64 with underlying health conditions:  PWHD is currently vaccinating this group.  Those who are 65+ years and older and who want to get the vaccine must first register here.  After that step, you will receive an email, but it could take up to 48 hours to receive the email.  The email will instruct you on how to sign up for an appointment.  Each person must have their individual email address to sign up, for example, two people registering require two different email addresses.
  • Phase 1b Front line Essential Workers: Police/Fire/Hazmat, 2. Corrections/ Homeless shelter workers, 3. Childcare/PreK-12 Teachers/Staff, 4. Food and Agriculture (including Veterinarians), 5. Manufacturing, 6. Grocery store workers, 7. Public transit workers, 8. Mail carriers (USPS and private), 9. Officials needed to maintain continuity of government.
  • Call Center: PWHD call center for vaccine questions (703) 872-7759. At this time, the call center is not able to make online appointments for people who do not have access to email; you will be added to a call-back list.
