The Manassas City Public Schools Career and Technical Education department hosted its first annual CTE Business Advisory banquet on Oct. 30. Over 80 stakeholders and over 45 different business advisors spent time with school administration, students, and instructional staff.

The event began with a dinner, CTE highlights, students speakers, and a guest speaker. James Dyke, former Secretary of Education for the Commonwealth, spoke about the need for workforce development and the need for businesses to get involved with school systems. Afterwards, business partners spoke to the career and technical education instructors regarding their programs of study.
