Dawkins Crest Circle Fire Incident

On Sunday, July 20th at approximately 3:15 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to a townhouse fire located in the 9200 block of Dawkins Crest Circle in Bristow.

Upon arrival fire and rescue units found heavy smoke and fire showing from the rear of a 3-story middle of the row townhome that was spreading quickly to adjacent townhomes, immediately the incident commander requested a second alarm. Fifty firefighters were needed to attack and extinguished the massive fire, that damaged a total of nine townhomes which varied from melted siding to significant structural damage to four townhomes, these townhomes were declared and posted unsafe by the Building Department.

No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist seven adults displaced by the fire.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshal’s Office.
