Delegate Hala Ayala has raised more than $430,000 for her campaign for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia. This fundraising haul, which includes in-kind and cash contributions, puts the campaign in a strong position heading into 2021 and the Democratic primary.

“This is a people-powered grassroots campaign, and I am so grateful for the support we have received,” said Delegate Hala Ayala. “Across the Commonwealth, Virginians have made clear that they share our vision for a future where everyone has a seat at the table. Thank you to each and every supporter who has joined our campaign so we can build bridges and create a strong, just, and prosperous future for all Virginians.”

More than 70% of Ayala’s donations came from the Commonwealth, and nearly 90% of donations are $100 or less — demonstrating the strong grassroots support that Ayala is building throughout Virginia. Over 1,000 individuals have donated towards Ayala’s campaign.

Ayala’s fundraising performance shows continued momentum for the Hala for Virginia campaign, which announced high-profile endorsements from across the Commonwealth recently, including House Appropriations Chair Luke Torian and House Transportation Chair Delores McQuinn.
