My Natural Me 5K Run/Walk for Charity
This 5K is part of My Natural Me, a non-profit for girls and women to feel honored and empowered through coaching, resources, education, and community collaboration. Money raised will support programs and help open a women’s center in Manassas. Registration is 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Jirani Coffeehouse (9425 West Street, Manassas). Sensory Saturdays
An hour and 45 minutes of sensory-friendly fun for children of all ages on Saturday mornings! In order to be as sensory-friendly as possible, there will be no music playing and the large mushroom water feature will be turned off. Manassas Arts + Music Festival
This first annual Manassas Arts + Music Festival at Haven Arts VA will include musical performances by local and major recording artists, a fashion show featuring the brands of local and regional designers, a comedy show, dance performances, small business vendors, and more. A portion of all proceeds will help fund a summer youth program called The Young Visionaries Visual, Arts and Music Camp, which aims to educate teens in art, music, and videography. American Cancer Society Relay for Life
This year’s theme is Sporting for Life and activities throughout the day will let the Relay For Life teams show off their favorite sporting activities or sports teams. The event begins and ends honoring and remembering those lives touched by cancer. The very first lap at 3:45 p.m. is for Cancer Survivors and their Caregivers. Entertainment continues from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. At 9:00 p.m., the Luminaria Ceremony begins, where the Relay path will be lit with bags inscribed with the names of loved ones who are still fighting, in remission, whose battle is over or is anywhere on the cancer journey. 2023 Community Band Festival
Three regional community bands are playing in this festival. Come at 5:00 p.m. to see the Prince William Community Band.
