Ghost Walks: Return to the Shadows

Historic Dumfries Virginia, Inc. presents the Return to the Shadows Ghost Tour, featuring an outside walking tour of the Dumfries historic area at night, including Dumfries Cemetery and the Weems-Botts Museum grounds (not inside the house); the lore that made the Weems-Botts Museum famous with new happenings and a new entity documented by our paranormal investigator; and a chance to investigate Merchant Park after the tour as you decide whether the stories are true. Historic Cemeteries of Brentsville Walking Tour

In the nearly 200-year history of the community of Brentsville, many cemeteries have sprung up in the area.  Some of these burial grounds are now lost to history; others are still marked today.  Kick off the Halloween season with a special walking tour of historic Brentsville, exploring some of the area’s little-known cemeteries. Paint Night at Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary
