  1. Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients:

-1 cup all-purpose flour

-3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

-1 teaspoon baking powder

-1/2 teaspoon baking soda

-1/4 teaspoon salt

-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature

-2 cups sugar

-2 large eggs, beaten

-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before rolling in confectioners’ sugar.

 

  1. Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature

-1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

-1/4 cup molasses

-1 large egg, beaten

-2 cups all-purpose flour

-2 teaspoons ground ginger

-1 teaspoon baking soda

-3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

-1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in molasses and egg. In another bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. flatten slightly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before rolling in confectioners’ sugar.

Ingredients:

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-1 large egg, beaten

-1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and 2 cups sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour and cream of tartar. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before rolling in confectioners’ sugar.

Ingredients:

-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature

-1 cup packed light brown sugar

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-2 large eggs, beaten

-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

-1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

-1 teaspoon baking powder

Ingredients:

-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-1 large egg, beaten

-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

-2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  3. Place dough in a cookie press and press out onto the prepared baking sheet.

8. Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

-1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature

-1 cup packed light brown sugar

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-2 large eggs, beaten

-1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

-2 cups all-purpose flour

-1 teaspoon baking soda

-1 teaspoon salt

-2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

9. Snickerdoodles

Ingredients:

– 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

– 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

– 1 1/2 cups white sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

For the Coating:

– 2 tablespoons white sugar

– 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar until combined. Set aside.

3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter on medium speed for about two minutes until light and fluffy. Add in the sugar and continue beating until smooth and creamy, approximately 3 minutes more. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed while mixing to ensure everything is well blended.

4. To the butter mixture, add in eggs one at a time and beat until fully incorporated. Add in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.

5. Slowly add in the dry ingredients, about 1/2 cup at a time, beating until just combined after each addition.

6. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for coating. Scoop out 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and roll it into a ball with your hands. Roll this ball into the coating and place on baking sheet. Repeat with remaining cookie dough balls. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet before transferring to cooling rack or serving plate! Enjoy!

 

10. Peanutbutter Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients:

– 1 cup of peanut butter

– ½ cup of softened butter

– ¾ cups of packed brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1 egg

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 1½ cup all purpose flour

– ½ teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, cream together the peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar until it is light and fluffy. Add in the vanilla extract, egg, and honey and mix until fully combined.

3. In a separate bowl whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.

4. Take 1 tablespoon of dough at a time and roll into a ball. Place on the baking sheet and slightly flatten with your thumb or the back of a spoon. Make an indent in the center of each cookie.

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown around edges. Let cool before serving.
