December 2012, Prince William County, Virginia – The Prince William Board of County Supervisors is pleased to announce that Eco-Energy Holdings, Inc. (“Eco-Energy”) is partnering with NuStar Terminals Operations Partnership L.P. (“NuStar”) to develop an ethanol unloading, storage and outbound truck loading facility in Prince William County, Virginia. The facility will serve the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC markets.

The ethanol unit train terminal will have approximately 155,000 barrels of ethanol storage capacity and will be capable of distributing over 400,000 barrels per month.  The facility will offer product access 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and will be equipped to receive up to 96 rail car unit trains via CSX Transportation (“CSX”) with 24/36 hour turnaround time. Eco-Energy will be looking to sign terminal agreements with customers during the second quarter of 2013 and operations at the Dumfries, VA site are expected to commence in the third quarter of 2013. The project will bring 10-15 new jobs to the area.

“On behalf of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, I wish to congratulate Eco-Energy and NuStar on this exciting collaborative project,” said Cory Stewart, Chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors. “We are pleased this facility will call Prince William County home.”

“As we considered the right location for this project Prince William County quickly emerged as the front-runner,” said Pete McKinney, Manager, Terminal Development for Eco-Energy. “With access to multiple rail providers and two major interstates, Prince William County is an ideal location from which to serve Mid-Atlantic Markets,” said McKinney.

Eco-Energy applied for and received a Rail Access Grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia for this project. Their application was supported by the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.

“The Prince William County Department of Economic Development and the Board of County Supervisors were valuable partners with us as we worked through the process of locating our new facility,” said McKinney.
