Award winning Edgemoor Art Studio isn’t resting on it’s laurels. The 2013 Seedfeldt Award winner for Outstanding Arts Organization has updated their website and facebook page to make use easier and reach more students. In addition, soon all studio families will be receiving a monthly newsletter, “THE EDGEMOOR TIMES” outlining class content, news, events, educational outreach programs, and studio photos. “This is just another way we can serve our students and keep them up to date with all the exiting growth we are having.” said Ruth Johnsen, founder of Edgemoor Art Studio. “Our brand new Facebook page is now up, simply type in “Edgemoor Art Studio, Inc.” in order to access and like our page.”
Edgemoor will be taking their easels and having fun at Leadership Prince William’s Carnival and BBQ for Serve on Labor Day at 10056 Dean Dr, Manassas. In addition, Edgemoor Art Studio will this year be an exhibitor at this year’s Stonebridge Fall Fest on Sept. 14th. www.stonebridgefallfest.com. Edgemoor Art Studio is currently planning curriculum for fall classes, events such as Arts Alive! 2014 coming in May, and their famous “chocolate-sculpting” and Cinnamon-ornament workshops!
Edgemoor Art Studio is currently registering for art discovery (ages 3-4), and Intro to Art (ages 4-5) am classes, as well as Homeschool art class for older children; Fridays 1-3 pm (ages 11& up), beginning next Friday, Sept. 6th.
