More than 33,000 people in Prince William County and the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park face food insecurity. And just one $20 ticket to Empty Bowls can cover the purchase cost of 100+ pounds of food for these hungry citizens.

Make a difference by attending Empty Bowls on Thursday, October 13, between 5:30 and 8:00 p. m. at the Manassas Church of the Brethren (10047 Nokesville Rd., Manassas, VA 20110).

You’ll enjoy a heartwarming meal of soup, bread and dessert (donated by local restaurants), as well as performances by the Greater Manassas Children’s Choir. And you’ll also get to take home a handmade, ceramic bowl of your choosing.

Pre-sale tickets are available through October 12. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Sponsorships and food donations are also welcome. For more information, visit nvfs.org/emptybowls or contact Pam Boyle at 571.748.2537.

Thank you, 2016 Empty Bowls sponsors!

All Empty Bowls proceeds benefit the SERVE Campus of Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS), which includes an 8,000-plus square foot Hunger Resource Center and a 92-bed family shelter, and provides comprehensive services that help families and individuals become stable and self-sufficient.
