Office Donates in Memory of Owner’s Mother
Woodbridge, VA (Grassroots Newswire) October 22, 2014 — For the second consecutive year, the agents and owners of ERA Blue Diamond Realty sponsored Office Manager, Nicole McGee in the Virginia Tri-Counties Walk to End Alzheimer’s that was held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Old Town Manassas.
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, this inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to reclaim the future for millions.
Mrs. McGee is walking in memory of her grandmother Nancy Bridges, who died in August of 2013 of the disease. The agents, staff and owners have given generous contributions in Mrs. Bridges honor following her long battle with the disease. “Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. It took the life of a woman who meant a great deal to us. I will be lacing up my shoes and walking in her memory to help raise awareness and money towards finding a cure for this disease.”
Mrs. McGee and Team Emeritus at Lake Ridge are still looking for sponsors for their team. To make a tax deductible donation, visit:
