Access the Magic Inside: Learn to Craft Accessible Poetry for Publishing

October 29, 2023 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

Looking to add depth and breadth to your poetry while keeping it accessible? Join award-winning poet and author Katherine M. Gotthardt, M.Ed. for this 90-minute, hands-on workshop. Examine poetry that publishers have accepted and judges have recognized as you learn a variety of approaches designed to help you craft more meaningful poetry that incorporates:

  • mindfulness
  • grounding imagery
  • elements of creative nonfiction
  • extended metaphor

You will receive two no-cost, signed, print books that will provide examples and models (a $40 value). Come away with at least two drafts of poems to prepare for submissions. Feedback will be provided, as well as opportunity to share.

Learn more about the facilitator at KatherineGotthardt.com.
