Northern Virginia Family Service is holding four public donation drop-off days at its Hunger Resource Center in Manassas as part of the 2026 Fall Food Drive. Residents, businesses, schools, faith communities, and neighborhood groups may bring food donations and grocery store gift cards to help stock the center for families in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park during the fall and holiday season.

Grocery store gift cards are a top need. Requested foods include canned chicken, canned fruit in natural juice, canned tuna, low-sodium canned soup, cooking oil, dried beans, pasta, pasta sauce with low or no added sugar, peanut butter with low or no added sugar, and low-sugar cereal and oatmeal.

NVFS warns that GPS may route drivers to a closed section of Dean Drive because of construction and recommends using the turnoff from Nokesville Road/Route 28.
