Project Wellness is a comprehensive six-week program that promotes effective weight management through proper
diet, exercise, stress management and education. The ultimate goal of the program is to teach participants how to
adopt and maintain a healthier lifestyle that reduces the risks associated with being overweight.
We will provide blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol and blood sugar screenings in week 1 and week 6 of the program. Six-week program begins in January 2019. Sessions are held on Wednesdays from 11:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon.
Week 1: Know your numbers – Jan. 9
Week 2: Why weight? – Jan. 16
Week 3: Exercise motivation – Jan. 23
Week 4: Cholesterol connection – Jan. 30
Week 5: Stress management – Feb. 6
Week 6: Wellness for life – Feb. 13
