WinterFest in Occoquan, December 9
Join us as The Town of Occoquan partners with Occoquan River Communities’ in celebrating WinterFest on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017. Occoquan will be hosting free activities on the streets of the Historic District from 4:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. that include:
- Fire pits and marshmallow roasting
- Holiday carolers and musicians
- Visit with Santa
- Mill House Museum will host a children’s craft activity
- Touch-a-truck
- Many stores and restaurants will be open late
OWL Fire Department will be stationed in the cul-de-sac and kids can meet the volunteer firefighters, touch the truck, and meet Santa!
There will be a full day of events beginning with the Lake Ridge Santa’s Parade at 11:00 a. m. The Workhouse Arts Center joins WinterFest from 6:00 p. m. to 9:00 p.m. with its Saturday Art Walk. Fireworks sponsored by Prince William Marina will be viewable from Occoquan between 7:00 p. m. and 9:00 p. m. Come join in on the fun!
