The Marine Corps Heritage Foundation will show Korean War: The Untold Story (1988) in honor of the upcoming 71st anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War on June 25. The documentary will play in the National Museum of the Marine Corps’ Giant Screen Medal of Honor Theater and will also be available for streaming online from June 25 to July 4.

Hosted by multiple Emmy winner Loretta Swit, best known for her role as Major Margaret Houlihan in the TV Series M*A*S*H, the film immerses viewers in firsthand, powerful accounts of some of the courageous service members who fought in Korea. Swit takes viewers to Inchon, Panmunjom, Seoul, and the DMZ at the 38th parallel, touching on the history of the times and allowing viewers to see authentic battle footage.
