“Learning about native plants connect us to place and community,” said Ashley Studholme, Executive Director of the Prince William Conservation Alliance. “Hosting the symposium on Valentine’s Day feels especially fitting. It’s an invitation for our community to fall in love with native plants and the land where they flourish. You’ll leave with practical tools to protect and restore the landscapes large or small that we call home.”
This event is hosted and sponsored by Prince William Conservation Alliance, Plant NOVA Natives, Virginia Native Plant Society, Prince William Wildflower Society, Prince William Soil and Water Conservation District, Virginia Cooperative Extension, Prince William Public Works, George Mason Sustainability, Northern Virginia Community College, with additional sponsorship support from the White House Farm Foundation, Master Gardeners of Prince William, and Virginia Native Plant Society – Potowmack Chapter.
