Keep Prince William Beautiful announced today the Farmer’s Fair at the Winery at La Grange Benefit fundraiser to be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at 6:00 p. m. at the beautiful Winery at La Grange in Haymarket. Tickets are $65 and include admission to a wine bar, farm-to-table cuisine, a silent auction, and the opportunity to visit with vendors from the farming community across Northern Virginia. The Farmer’s Fair is presented in partnership with JK Enterprise and Madera Farm.

Proceeds benefit KPWB’s Beautification Program, including a park project to pay tribute to service members on the 37-acre grounds of the Warrior Retreat at Bull Run, a home-a-away from home for our nation’s wounded warriors recovering in D.C.-area military hospitals.
The Farmer’s Fair event culminates the 2017 Keep Prince William Beautiful Week, the D.C. area’s leading environmental action week, organized by Keep Prince William Beautiful. Other events planned include:
Saturday, April 22, 9:00 a. m. – 12:00 p. m. – The Great Prince William Clean Up, a volunteer-led litter clean up of a 13-mile stretch of Route 1, spanning from Occoquan to Quantico. Volunteers receive a t-shirt and admission to a thank you picnic at the end to celebrate a beautiful community. Participation is FREE. Volunteers must register to participate on eventbrite.
Sunday, April 23, 8:30 a. m. – Ready. Set. Grow! Run for the Earth 5K in Historic Occoquan is a family-friendly 5K run through one of Virginia’s most beautiful towns. Food trucks, treats for dogs, and activities for kids on hand. KPWB will join town officials at the race’s conclusion for a tree planting ceremony. Registrants receive a special edition t-shirt. Registration is $20 on eventbrite. Kids are free.
Thursday, April 27, 7:00 p. m. – Join the Friends of KPWB for a night out at the Potomac Nationals. Reserve your tickets through KPWB and a portion of the proceeds benefit our educational programs. Visit the KPWB booth in the concourse, where the first 250 fans will receive a complimentary gift from Compton & Duling. Tickets are $10 on eventbrite.
