“Festive Color” Art Exhibition at Workhouse Arts Center

Opening on December 1, 2014 and on exhibit until January 31, 2015, the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA will showcase an all media art exhibit by the Associate Artists in Gallery 9. Their show, “Festive Color” asks it’s viewers to think color, bright, festive, grateful, family, and celebrations.

The artists will be on hand to talk about their work and the processes they use at the opening reception on December 13, 2014. It will be held from 6-9pm in Gallery 9 (W9). The Workhouse Arts Center is located at 9601 Ox Rd., Lorton, VA 22079. Gallery hours are Mon.-Fri: 11am-6pm; Sun: 12-5pm.

The artists have created pieces that will stimulate conversations, spark imagination, and bring smiles to all who see their work. Kathy says, “Have you ever walked by a scene & what you see takes your breath away? What brings to mind of what’s festive – could it be the weather, sights & smells, or just maybe the memories of family? Whatever they may be – it’s sure to be a wonderous vision.”
