Last month, U.S. Small Business Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman dropped by the Veterans Growing America pop-up shop at Stonebridge Shopping Center in Woodbridge to kick off the holiday shopping season. Her visit marked the start of the largest retail spending season, which saw Americans spending more than $900 billion last year alone from late October through the first week of January.
