All organizations that are a part of the event provide services and/or resources to seniors living in the Northern Virginia region.
Navigating the Caregiving Journey is a conference to empower family caregivers with knowledge, resources and opportunities and will feature educational sessions throughout the day. There is also an exhibit hall where attendees will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with representatives from local organizations and companies that offer products and services available to family caregivers and those in their care.
Pat Manalio, Director at Strategic Management Partners, says, “We are so fortunate to have the support of our sponsors and exhibitors. These folks offer options to seniors, their families and caregivers that are so important in this day and age. Without their support, our caregivers wouldn’t have the information they need to assist them in their daily lives. We are thrilled to be able to bring this conference to caregivers across the Northern Virginia area, and to connect them to the resources that will help make life easier for them and their loved ones.”
For those needing respite care during the conference, Griswold Homecare NoVA West will be providing this service for attendees at the conference at no additional charge. To register for the conference go to the website, mycaregivingjourney.com.
