Gainesville Community Choir Presents “Songs of Loudest Praise”

Gainesville Community Choir’s highly anticipated concert will be held at Grace United Methodist Church in Manassas on May 24 at 7:30 p.m. and May 25 at 4 p.m. The concert is entitled “Songs of Loudest Praise” and boasts an eclectic selection of music including Renaissance, Spirituals, Scottish, Indian Raga, Film Soundtrack, American Folk music, and an epic medley from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-smashing musical, The Phantom of the Opera.

Since its formation in 2013, Gainesville Community Choir remains committed to its mission to enrich, educate, and entertain those in the community through intentional community-building and rehearsals that develop and support musical excellence. Their spring and fall seasons culminate in major concerts in May and December. Gainesville Community Choir is led by Conductor Jacob Lash and Associate Conductor Preston Atkins, both of whom are music teachers in Prince William County. Pam Sottosani serves as the group’s accompanist for rehearsals and concerts.

Tickets are $18.00 for adults, $10.00 for ages 9 to 17 years old, and free for children 8 years old and younger. Tickets are available at the event and can be purchased via cash, check, credit card, Venmo, or PayPal. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the concert and seating is general admission. The concert is approximately 90 minutes long with one intermission.
