Looking for an outdoor child-friendly activity on Thanksgiving Day that does not involve shopping? Consider meeting up at the Mill House Museum in Occoquan (413 Mill Street) on Thursday, Nov. 23, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. There you will gather outside to hear about the magic of seeds with stories and activities, and there will be traditional children’s toys to enjoy and share.
Furry friends are welcome, and you can bring blankets and snacks, but the only things required are smiles and imagination. This is a free event.
