The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia announced Round One grantees from the COVID-19 Response Fund for Northern Virginia last Friday.
Round Two grants from the Fund will be announced on April 3. Round Three grants will be announced at a later date in April or early May.
There is no formal application process. Nonprofits who would like to be considered for a grant should complete a short application form by Tuesday, March 31 at 5:00 pm. It requests basic information about the organization and how your services will address vulnerable local populations during the COVID-19 impact. If you have already emailed [email protected], you do not need to complete this form. The Community Foundation may reach out for more information.
Please note: This is a very fluid situation, changing by the day. Our community will need funds to aid in the rebuilding effort and to meet several unanticipated community needs for months to come. The Community Fundation will continue to update this page. The structure and purpose of the Fund will undoubtably evolve to respond to what we are seeing, hearing and learning directly from the community and its leaders.
