Manassas, VA— Come visit Old Town Manassas for a morning full of family-friendly Halloween haunts! Bring your little ghouls and goblins to City Hall at 10 a.m. on October 26th to register for the costume contest, then parade down Center Street. This free event is for children of all ages. Be sure to stop and enjoy food and treats from your favorite local shops. Merchants will also feature games, prizes, and creepy crafts until noon.

Last year’s event brought over 500 families trick-or- treating through Old Town. People of all ages participated in the costume contest; some even dressed their pets. One of the winners, pictured below, said that her mother helped her to create her costume from scratch. The mother decided to kick it up a notch by rubbing popcorn on the costume, making it smell very authentic! Come to Haunted Happenings and see what creative kids come up with this year.
