Historic Dumfries Virginia is holding a virtual Halloween program! The Executive Director will host a virtual tea sharing the history of Gothic horror and literature along with spooky lore and stories, and great Halloween planning tips – from games to recipes! Join from the safety of your home…if you dare!
Each participant will receive a PDF booklet with recipes and Halloween game ideas (geared for all ages). This program is offered on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2022, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for members. Tickets are available on Eventbrite or HDVI’s website.
The Weems-Botts Museum is operated by Historic Dumfries Virginia, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit membership organization whose mission is to preserve and promote the historic heritage of Dumfries – Virginia’s oldest chartered town. Historic Dumfries Virginia also hosts educational programs and events and maintains a research library, archive, and collections of artifacts related to Dumfries’ history.
