Historic Preservation to Commemorate 250th Anniversary of Prince William Resolves

In June 1774, Prince William County citizens protested the British parliament’s passage of the “Intolerable Acts” by drafting and signing the Prince William Resolves. The public is invited to commemorate this momentous step towards independence by attending a free, family-friendly program marking the 250th anniversary.

The event will be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Merchant Park. 3944 Cameron Street, Dumfries.
