Ruth Tenney
Ruth Tenney, special education teacher at Hylton High School, has been awarded a full scholarship to Walden University’s Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) program. Tenney, a 15-year veteran teacher at Hylton, was chosen based on her academic merit, response to essay questions, and her personal statement. A representative from Walden University presented Tenney with a commemorative check at Hylton on Monday, June 11. Tenney has always wanted to earn her Ed.D., and thanks to the Walden/PWCS Scholarship, her dream will become a reality.
