The Hylton Performing Arts Center concludes its 2018-2019 Hylton Presents season with another thrilling concert from The American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO), Movie Music Magic, May 3.

Maestro extraordinaire Anthony Maiello conducts the concert, which highlights musical styles spanning years of celebrated films and film composers from Hans Zimmer to John Williams to Henry Mancini. Joining Maiello for this special concert is pop and jazz vocalist April Marie, and Sheryl Bass as guest conductor. Bass is a current member of the Hylton Center Board of Directors, Mason’s Sci-Tech Advisory Board, and is former Vice Mayor and Manassas City Councilwoman.

The May and June calendar at the Hylton Center also welcomes a wonderful repertoire of drama, orchestral favorites, gorgeous ballet programs, and more from Hylton Center Resident Arts Partners, as well as the return of Summer Performances for Young Audiences with indie music family favorite Justin Roberts.

Events take place at the Hylton Performing Arts Center, 10960 George Mason Circle, Manassas. Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Hylton Center Ticket Office (open Tuesday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.), by calling 703-993-7759, or through the Hylton Center’s website.
