The westbound I-66 lanes on the bridge over the ramp from southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway to eastbound I-66/westbound Route 50 and the ramp from northbound Route 110 to westbound I-66 will be shifting overnight Tuesday, April 23.
Currently on westbound I-66, two lanes get by on the median side of the bridge, which has allowed rehabilitation work to occur on the outside portion of the bridge. The westbound lanes will shift to the right between 10:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 23 and 6:00 a. m. Wednesday, April 24, in order to allow rehabilitation work to proceed on the median side.
Drivers should expect delays during that timeframe Tuesday night and are advised to use alternate routes.
The I-66 over Route 110 and George Washington Memorial Parkway ramps project is scheduled for completion this summer.
