An overnight closure Oct. 16 is scheduled for the Dale City Truck-Only Safety Rest Area North and weigh station. This area is at mile marker 154 along northbound I-95 just beyond Route 234 (Exit 152). Weather permitting, it will be closed from 9:30 p. m. Tuesday, Oct. 16 to 5:00 a. m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 for milling and paving of the on-ramp.
The last rest area for trucks on northbound I-95 in Virginia prior to Dale City is the Ladysmith Safety Rest Area/Welcome Center at mile marker 104. The next rest area on northbound I-95 is the I-95 North Welcome Center in Maryland at mile marker 36 between Washington and Baltimore.
Truck drivers should plan their trips and rest breaks accordingly.
