We are announcing news of an exciting collaboration between IKEA and Swedish-born fashion designer and stylist Bea Åkerlund.
The home is a place where you can express your passions and celebrate your individually, which is why IKEA is teaming up with Åkerlund to create a bold, eclectic collection – OMEDELBAR. Influenced by Swedish design and Åkerlund’s experience styling Hollywood icons, such as Madonna, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, the limited-edition collection will include statement pieces for your home that can enhance or elevate a look, just like personal accessories. It’s playful and fierce, and challenges conventions in style and dimensions – perfect for young fashion lovers.
The limited-edition OMEDELBAR collection will be available in U.S. stores in Spring 2018. More information about the collaboration will be shared during IKEA Democratic Design Days in Älmhult, Sweden, in early June.
