This month, IKEA is introducing AVSIKTLIG, a new limited-edition* collection designed in collaboration with the iconic design collective 10-gruppen. Known internationally as Ten Swedish Designers, 10-gruppen was formed in Stockholm back in 1970 and inspired Swedish design for 45 years. Now, IKEA is partnering with key designers from the group to prove that what was spectacular 45 years ago can be just as bold today.
Fusing the past and the present, AVSIKTLIG shows that it’s possible to celebrate history and still be contemporary. Bold in color and geometric expression, the collection features 14 powerful patterns that mix emerald greens, ultra-marine blues and lemon yellows, with black and white elements. This eclectic collection can be incorporated throughout the home, from bedding and rugs to tableware and posters.
