Aug. 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. Community Services and the Prevention Coalition of Greater Prince William are cohosting an evening event this Thursday as a way to share resources, remembrance and hope. The Prevention and Wellness team will also be at two Farmers Markets that day to share resources, encourage and empower people to be a potential lifesaver by carrying naloxone and allow people to remember their friends, family and loved ones. These events are free and open to the public, so please encourage others to attend.
