Let’s Groove Studio is nestled in a rather generic-looking shopping center in a quickly redeveloping area of Liberia Avenue in Manassas.
Let’s Groove is one of few, if not the only, physical dance studio in the greater DC area to have opened for business since mid-March. Let’s Groove offers a wide variety of classes open to those of all levels and all ages (12+). Classes are taught by highly-experienced and professionally trained dancers reflecting the diversity of Prince William County and surrounding areas.
Studio owner Monica Ahuja is bringing her lifelong dream to life with Let’s Groove. She brings with her over 12 years of experience in the regional dance community with professional training back home in India. She was inspired by what she witnessed through her involvement in dance classes in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Classes for the studio are drop-in classes that you can experience at your own pace. For really passionate dancers or those looking to add a dance class to their weekly routine, Let’s Groove offers seven- or 30-day passes for dance enthusiasts.
Each class includes guided training of how to dance a 45-second choreography routine on trending songs. Students also have the opportunity to take home professional video recordings of themselves dancing. Those who purchase seven- or 30 day-passes or return to the studio later can clearly see how much they are improving over time.
Let’s Groove Studio staff are closely following CDC guidelines by offering classes to a maximum of five students per class Students and instructors are required to stand six feet apart on floor decals. An air purifier has been installed and the studio provides breathable face masks.
The studio is also available for rental for your photoshoots, video shoots, and small private events. The usable studio space is about 650 square feet and offers good lighting, a sound system, and Bluetooth-enabled surround sound speakers.
