Father’s Day Events (June 17):
Potomac Nationals Game vs BC Astros (Woodbridge)
Father’s Day is about fathers, family, beer, and sports; so take dad out to the ball game at Pfitzner Stadium to see the Potomac Nationals take on the BC Astros (Astros Affiliate). Before the game, make sure to attend a picnic and check out the special vendor expo.
Bret Michaels & Poision at Jiffy Lube Live (Bristow)
Finish off the afternoon of fun by heading to Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow to see Bret Michaels and Poison turn up the volume starting at 7:00 p. m. for the “Nothin’ But A Good Time Tour 2018.”
Artillery Demonstration at Manassas National Battlefield Park (Manassas)
Get front row seats at Manassas National Battlefield Park for their special Father’s Day weekend. Attend an infantry and artillery demonstration at Henry Hill, taking you and dad back in time to the First and Second Battles of Manassas as you witness how camp life and drills were.
1st Annual Seafood Boil at Farm Brew Live (Manassas)

National Trails Day (Nationwide)
Pledge to leave a trail or park better than you found it on June 2, joining a national movement to preserve America’s remarkable public lands for future generations.
Beer & BBQ at Heritage Brewing Company (Manassas)
Department of Smoke will be on site at the Heritage Brewing taproom in Manassas from 4:00–8:00 p. m. serving up fresh authentic Texas BBQ. Pair this delicious BBQ with their extensive lineup of craft beers.
1st Annual Ale Harvest at Eavesdrop Brewery (Yorkshire)
Join the Eavesdrop Brewing team for their official Grand Opening and 1st Annual Ale Harvest festival! The Ale Harvest is an annual event where we celebrate the past year through beer, food, and harvest!
Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show (Occoquan)
Occoquan will host over 300 contemporary and country crafters and artisans from Historic Occoquan and all around the United States. More than 10,000 people visit Occoquan for fun, food and shopping at this family friendly event.

Line Dancing at Uptown Alley (Manassas)
New and classic line dances from ultra-beginner to intermediate will be taught by the fabulous Kelli from 7:30–9:00 p. m., followed by open dance until 11:00 p. m. with DJ Jillbilly! Dance floor opens at 7:00 p. m., so come out early to warm up! NO COVER! FREE LESSONS! ALL DJ! ALL LINE/COUPLES DANCING!
June 9
Ali Krieger Sports Complex Ribbon Cutting (Dumfries)
Come out to celebrate the grand opening of the new sports complex named after the internationally-renowned soccer star Ali Krieger. The Prince William County Department of Parks & Recreation will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 9, at 9:30 a. m., to officially open the Ali Krieger Sports Complex. The sports complex is located at Potomac Shores, 2400 River Heritage Boulevard, Dumfries. The 29.7 acre sports complex will open the first phase this month, which consists of two soccer fields with artificial turf and lights, a concessions building with comfort facilities, and a children’s playground is now completed!
Meet the Men of Ben Lomond Candlelight Tour at Ben Lomond Historic Site (Manassas) Experience the world of the men of Ben Lomond as Mr. Chinn and Mr. Pringle will give you a candlelight tour digging deeper and deeper in to the rich history of the plantation. See how the property went from a house to a hospital as you experience the sounds, sights, and smells of an active field hospital guided by nothing but candlelight.
Photography Tour at Manassas National Battlefield Park (Manassas) Tour the battlefield of First Bull Run and Centreville using period photographs. Visit the sites of the photos and learn the stories behind them and their subjects from experts John Cummings and Dennis Hogge. This is a free event.
Yoga Retreat at the Little Goat Farm at the Lake (Nokesville) Full day yoga retreat at Little Goat Farm at the Lake is a fun, relaxing day on the farm. The day will offer an opening yoga ceremony, meditation, and of course our friendly goats, llama, and alpacas and chickens.

Scottish Tea at the Weems-Botts Museum (Dumfries) The program starts with a seated tea service in the Museum’s Annex Building where guests will savor Harney & Sons Scottish tea and gourmet Scottish scones and shortbread while learning about Dumfries’s Scottish heritage.

SummerFest at Tacketts Mill (Woodbridge)

Taste of Woodbridge (Woodbridge)
Come out for a fun-filled day at Stonebridge Town Center. Food tastings, exhibitors, interactive fun and LIVE entertainment! FREE to attend! Tasting tickets are $1 each and will go on sale closer to the event.

Brentsville Farmhouse Living History Weekend (Brentsville)
Immerse yourself in to what it was like to live on a 19th century farmhouse by learning about the chores required and meeting live animals. In the 19th century, most people living in Prince William County were somehow tied to farming.
Music at the Leesylvania State Park Marina (Woodbridge)
Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a picnic basket and enjoy the band of in Remembrance (IR) at Music at the Marina. They are a cover band with some original songs. IR is a huge supporter of our troops, and plays to honor Marine Corps Captain Brian Letendre and all other fallen military and Gold Stars.

WMZQ Fest (Bristow)
Dust off your cowboy boots and get ready to jam at WMZQ fest! Come on out and listen to music from country legends such as Rascal Flatts and Dan and Shay.

Dale City Independence Day Parade (Dale City)
Celebrate America on the fourth of July in Dale City for the 47th annual Dale City Independence Day Parade. Come bleed red white and blue while you enjoy the showcasing of scouting troops, churches, politicians, performing arts groups, and more. Following the patriotic parade will be the Family Fun Day festivities including vendors, games, and entertainment, which run until 2:00 p. m.
Potomac Nationals vs Salem Red Sox (Woodbridge)
Swing on down to the annual Potomac Nationals Game vs the Salem Red Sox to enjoy America’s favorite pastime, baseball! Players will be wearing military themed jerseys during the game as the slide in to first base to the waving of mini American flag that fans can take home. After the game don’t strike out – stay for the postgame firework show!
Not on the Fourth Fireworks (Dumfries)
Bummed the Fourth of July is on a Wednesday? Have no fear, Tim’s Rivershore is here! Come out and watch an extravagant fireworks display over the Potomac River. Watch the show from the comfort of a table at the Tiki Bar! These fireworks are held on June 29-July 1.
