Marlo Thomas Watson, President of the Board of Directors of Keep Prince William Beautiful, Inc., announced today the Board of Directors has approved three new board members to serve Prince William County’s leading environmental action organization.
KPWB welcomes the following new Board members:
Susan Gray, President/Owner, Lake Ridge Nursery, Woodbridge
Susan Gray and her husband, Donnie, founded Lake Ridge Nursery in 1991. Lake Ridge Nursery and their team of experts happily serve the landscaping and gardening needs of Prince William, Fairfax, and Stafford counties. Their world-class retail shop, mixed with a vast collection of plants and flowers, make this a go-to business for all your landscaping needs.
Joe Ivers, PhD, President/Senior Aquatics Ecologist, Virginia Water and Wetlands, Inc., Nokesville
Dr. Ivers is the owner/operator of Virginia Waters and Wetlands, Inc. Dr. Ivers specializes in pond ecology, wetland and stream restoration. He has designed, constructed, and maintained several wetlands, miles of streams, and multiple ponds in the Northern Virginia Region. He has been instrumental in the establishment and construction of the Foggy Bottom Wetland and Stream Mitigation Farm serving the Potomac River Watershed. Currently, Dr. Ivers is active in a non-profit organization, The Clean Water Project, which he is the chairman of the board of directors.
Terri Aufmuth, President/CEO, Cornerstone Landscaping
President, Haymarket-Gainesville Business Association, Bristow
Terri Aufmuth has called Prince William County home since 1979. An active member of the community, Terri is the owner of Cornerstone Landscaping. Terri also serves as President of the Haymarket-Gainesville Business Association and active in the non-profit organization Comfort Cases. Cornerstone Landscaping was established in 1997 with the intention of creating a landscape design-build firm that would provide quality, value and professionalism in each project. Every client´s project is personally managed by the company´s owner, Terri Aufmuth and an experienced, qualified crew. Cornerstone Landscaping offers comprehensive landscape designs to meet the client´s need and budget.
“The Board is thrilled to welcome these three outstanding new members as we continue to lead Keep Prince William Beautiful toward big goals in serving our community,” said Watson. “These are passionate, accomplished individuals who will contribute to our mission.”
Gray, Ivers, and Aufmuth join Watson, Kelly Easterly, Jake Klitenic, Sheyna Burt, Benjamin Hazekamp, Pauline Hunter, Charlotta Wells, and Kirstyn Jovanich on the KPWB Board of Directors.
