In an effort to unify the local community, Forest Park AP Government students have taken on the task of creating, planning, and organizing a community walk for suicide awareness.

The walk is in conjunction with C.D. Hylton High School, but has already stretched out to neighboring schools within Prince William County. Students at Forest Park High School felt it pertinent to include their neighboring schools, for many students in attendance there have suffered from the effects of suicide.

More information is expected to be released at a PWCS board meeting on May 20th, 2015.
