Come celebrate an exciting addition to Historic Downtown Manassas at Knock on Wood’s ribbon cutting ceremony this Friday, May 4 during May’s First Friday. The ribbon cutting will take place at 5:00 p. m. at 9103 Center Street in Historic Downtown Manassas.
The founders, Denny and Kathleen, have a passion in woodworking, crafts, and repurposing old furniture, and always dreamed of having a storefront in a historic area. With the help of their two daughters and son-in-law, they rebuilt the space from the ground up.
Knock on Wood’s original products include Denny’s rustic ornaments such as wine stoppers and pins, and Kathleen’s repurposed furniture. Knock on Wood will also have a laser engraving service for personalized items such as wine glasses, beer steins, and yeti tumblers. They can provide for small and large events, and plan on collaborating with Amy’s Bridal Boutique. Their engraving services can work with wood, leather, plastic, glass and more.
