KO Distilling continues to amass top-tier accolades for its portfolio of Small Batch American Whiskeys. The latest awards honor the newest releases, KO Distiller’s Reserve Bottled-in-Bond Straight Rye Whiskey and Bare Knuckle High Rye Bourbon Cask Strength, both of which have been honored by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, one of the oldest and most prestigious global spirits competitions, and Wine Enthusiast Magazine, one of the most influential voices in wine and spirits journalism today.  Both award-winning bottles are widely available at Virginia ABC stores, just in time for Father’s Day.

Distiller’s Reserve Bottled-in-Bond Straight Rye Whiskey received a Double Gold Medal from the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a score of 91 points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Bare Knuckle High Rye Bourbon Cask Strength received a Gold Medal from the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a score of 92 points from Wine Enthusiast Magazine.

Distiller’s Reserve Straight Bottled-in-Bond Rye Whiskey is hand-crafted from 100 percent local Virginia rye, distilled in one season and aged for four years in charred new American Oak barrels.  It KO Distilling’s second bottled-in-bond expression and the second to earn a double gold medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Bare Knuckle High Rye Bourbon is made from 75% Corn, 21% Rye, and 4% Wheat. It was sourced from Indiana six years ago, when KO Distilling was founded.  At that time, it was put into charred new American Oak barrels and has been aging in KO’s Manassas warehouse.  It is offered in both single-barrel and cask-strength bottles.
