The Chorale has canceled the June 5 Singer’s Choice concert. Members hope to be back to singing soon, but must wait until it is safe for both audience members and singers. In the meantime, Lake Ridge Chorale is planning a virtual event with music, entertainment, and interviews.
Additionally, the Chorale Board of Directors still plans to hold monthly meetings virtually and work on future plans during this hiatus. A couple of members are retiring from seats on the Board. The Chorale is hoping to fill two volunteer positions, Secretary and Treasurer, by September. Having non-Chorale members on the Board affords an opportunity for new perspectives and ideas to be shared.
