Layla’s Lebanese Restaurant, a family owned and operated business in Woodbridge, is celebrating their third anniversary on March 7. From Alexandria to Tacketts Mill
Layla’s Lebanese Restaurant originally opened in 2007 in Old Town Alexandria and reopened in their current location in Tackett’s Mill Plaza on March 7, 2016. Owners and operators Michael and Mathil Chebat , developed all the menu items. The food is based on Lebanon’s finest and oldest recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.
As the business and family grew, Michael and Mathil’s daughters, Christiane Chebat, Catering Manager, and
Gabby Chebat, Restaurant Manager, have become the new faces of Layla’s. Together with brother-in-law and part owner Jimmy Chebat, Layla’s has continued to grow.
A New Line of Products
Layla’s has developed a line of products, including Garlic Whip and Hummus. Garlic Whip can be
purchased locally at Layla’s Restaurant as well as Natural Grocer, Tastefully Yours and Classic Wine. It’s available in Original, Honey Garlic, Jalapeño Cilantro, Cranberry, and Sun-dried Tomato.
