“Customers rave about our vanilla pistachio cupcakes and our Turkish coffee,” said Le Cake Boutiques’s Karmon Primas-Hailey. The new bakery and café announced a Grand Opening event this Saturday, April 27, 12:00 – 2:00 p. m., with 10% off all cakes.
“We’re excited about our Grand Opening,” said Serap Andreasen, head baker and Le Cake Boutique’s co-founder, along with Elif Tekin. “We’re hands-on owners, involved directly. We wanted a comfortable place, where everyone feels relaxed, comfortable to sit, enjoying a conversation and the smell of fresh cupcakes and pastries,” said Andreasen.
Both Andreasen and Tekin have roots in Turkey. “We want customers to taste the culture back home: welcoming, where people want to share their food and coffee and to enjoy each other and conversation,” said Tekin. She describes the Turkish coffee as “fine ground and smooth, both strong and light, similar to an espresso.”
Le Cake Boutique is open Tuesdays through Sundays and offers custom cakes in addition to a variety of cupcakes, macarons and other pastries.
“It has been hard work and faith to get us here,” said Andreasen. “We’re very excited for the future and everyone is welcome.”
