The 2015 Mrs. Virginia Pageant was recently held at The Colonial Theater in South Hill, Virginia. Representing our community as Mrs. Montclair, Jatana Jackson won the crown and title of Mrs. Virginia 2015. She will continue to the Mrs. America Pageant later this year in Crimea. If crowned Mrs. America she will continue to the Mrs. World Pageant, competing against married women across the globe.

Jatana and her husband Joshua reside in Montclair with their two sons Joshua and James. As a health & fitness coach, Jatana continues to find new ways to make healthy eating and exercise part of her family’s lifestyle. Through her coaching, she strives to help mothers succeed in reaching their goals of healthy lifestyle choices.

“As Mrs. Virginia, in addition to raising awareness to many other causes, I plan to spend my year focusing on the importance of Mentorship.” said Jatana. “I feel like there is a great need for understanding women, to come along side these young ladies to empower them for the great things they were designed to do. This includes many things from casting a lifelong vision, to just being a positive listening ear in their lives.”

You can find out more about Jatana’s journey by visiting her Facebook page: Facebook.com/MrsVirginiaAmerica

Mrs. Virginia allows women who have devoted much of their current lives to family, marriage, and career to showcase their accomplishments and reach out to other women like themselves. The Mrs. Virginia Pageant System recognizes married women for their beauty, accomplishments, commitment to marriage and their desire to make a difference in their communities.

The woman crowned Mrs. Virginia will receive a prize package valued at over $25,000 and the opportunity to represent Virginia at the 2016, only nationally televised pageant for married women, Mrs. America.

Married women who are interested in applying or getting more information should visit the web site at www.mrsvirginia.com or call the office at 804-387-6835.
